Post Capital Partners’ Mitch Davidson Joins Expert Panel on Investing in Behavioral Health
Investor interest in the segment reflects compelling growth rates as well as strong cash flow and margins
New York, July 12, 2018 – Mitch Davidson, Managing Director of
Post Capital Partners, today participated in a panel on “
Investing in Behaviorial Health: What’s Working and What’s Not.” Behavioral health has been a focus for Post Capital since 2012 when the fund invested in
Invo HealthCare, a leading national provider of school and community therapeutic services for individuals and families with autism and special needs.
The event was hosted and moderated by
Winston & Strawn LLP in conjuction with
Berkeley Research Group (BRG) and served as a forum for investment professionals interested in the behavioral health space. Davidson, along with other participants in this segment of the health care industry, discussed the market trends, where opportunities exist, and what challenges can arise in initiating and eventually realizing a successful behavioral health service investment.
“Behavioral health is rapidly developing as a compelling investment segment for private equity, as well as for corporate acquirers,” said Davidson. “Post Capital anticipates that trend will continue with the rise in the need for support services for individuals and families dealing with mental health issues, including the opioid epidemic.”
